JA Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Brisbane real estate agency looking to add a Leasing Consultant / Assistant Property Manager to their growing team.

If you enjoy getting out and about rather than spending your whole week behind a desk, this could be a great fit. You’ll spend much of your time out at properties, managing inspections and leasing activity, while also working closely with an experienced Property Management team.

With a company car and mobile phone provided, plus every Friday off, this role offers plenty of variety and the prospect to continue building your career in Property Management.

What you’ll be doing

- Running open homes and arranging private viewings

- Responding to prospective tenant enquiries and assisting throughout the leasing process

- Carrying out routine property inspections across the portfolio

- Preparing thorough inspection reports and keeping records up to date

- Completing entry and exit condition reports

- Picking up maintenance concerns during inspections and communicating these back to the team

- Keeping landlords and tenants updated where required

- Assisting the Property Managers with general portfolio tasks

- Keeping inspection-related administration accurate and up to date

- Providing a positive experience for tenants, landlords and prospective tenants

About you





You’ll suit this role if you’re comfortable managing your day on the road, enjoy dealing with people and can stay on top of a busy schedule without needing to be constantly supervised.

You’ll bring

- Some previous exposure to real estate or Property Management is preferred
- A current Queensland Real Estate Registration Certificate or licence
- A current driver’s licence

- Strong time management and the ability to plan your day effectively

- Clear and confident communication skills

- Great attention to detail, particularly when completing reports
- The ability to work independently while still being part of a wider team
- A dependable, proactive and professional approach

- Familiarity with property management platforms such as PropertyMe, Inspection Express or Inspect Real Estate would be beneficial

- $55,000 – $75,000 + super, depending on experience
