Medical Receptionist – Physiotherapy Clinics

My Parklands Physio, My Sippy Downs Physio and My Brightwater Physio are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team across our three Sunshine Coast clinics.

We’re a family-oriented physiotherapy practice that values providing great care to our patients and creating a welcoming experience from the moment they walk through our doors. We’re looking for someone who shares that approach and enjoys being part of a team that helps people get back to doing what they love.

About the Role

This position offers approximately two to three days per week, with flexibility around the successful applicant's availability and our clinic needs. Saturday morning availability is also required, potentially on a fortnightly basis.

There may be opportunities for additional shifts when covering team members who are sick or on leave.

We are open to either part-time or casual employment for the right person.

Your responsibilities will include

- Welcoming patients and providing a friendly, professional first impression.

- Managing appointments, bookings and practitioner schedules.

- Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries.

- Processing payments and assisting with general reception duties.

- Liaising with patients, physiotherapists and other healthcare providers.

- Assisting with invoicing and general administrative tasks.

- Helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our clinics.

- Is friendly, approachable and professional.

- Has strong communication and organisational skills.

- Is reliable, adaptable and comfortable multitasking in a busy environment.

- Can work independently while also being a supportive team member.

- Is happy to work across our three clinic locations.

Experience

- Previous reception or administration experience is preferred.

- Experience in a physiotherapy or other healthcare setting would be an advantage.

- Familiarity with Nookal practice management software would be a bonus.

- Confidence with computers, appointment scheduling and general administration is beneficial.

Don't worry if you haven't used Nookal before. We're happy to consider applicants who have the right attitude, people skills and willingness to learn.
