Our client is a well-established Registered Training Organisation with a strong community focus, delivering accredited training across the Sunshine Coast. They’re looking for an experienced mental health professional who is also a qualified trainer and assessor to join their Education and Training team on a casual basis.

About the Role

Reporting to the Training Manager, you’ll deliver accredited mental health training and assessment. You’ll work closely with the wider RTO team and local stakeholders to keep learners engaged, on track and supported through to completion, applying a trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approach in everything you deliver.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver accredited training and assessment in line with the RTO management system, the VET Quality Framework and AQF requirements
- Adapt training resources and delivery methods to suit learners’ needs and goals while staying aligned to training package requirements
- Create a secure,



engaging and inclusive learning workplace using trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practice
- Work with stakeholders to meet participant numbers, attendance goals and delivery hours
- Build strong relationships with local employers and community organisations to enrich the learning experience
- Contribute to program development, moderation, validation and continuous improvement activities

About You

Essential

- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or another training and assessment credential permitted under the Standards for RTOs (2025) Credential Policy
- Certificate IV in Mental Health or higher
- Current, relevant industry experience in the mental health sector
- A proven record of supporting strong learner participation, retention and completion
- A flexible, engaging delivery style that works well with disadvantaged and culturally diverse learners
- Accreditation to deliver Mental Health First Aid (not essential)
