About the role

As a Mortgage Broker, you will help clients navigate the home loan process by understanding their financial circumstances, exploring suitable lending options and guiding them through their loan applications.

You'll develop relationships with clients, referral partners and lenders while building your own client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners
- Understand clients' financial circumstances, borrowing capacity and property goals
- Research and identify suitable home loan products from available lenders
- Assist clients with loan applications, supporting documentation and lender requirements
- Liaise with lenders and other stakeholders throughout the lending process
- Apply knowledge of credit assessment, lending policies and responsible lending obligations
- Maintain accurate client records and follow relevant compliance requirements
- Develop your professional network and identify opportunities to grow your client base

Who we're looking for





We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

- Banking and financial services: Customer banking, lending or relationship management
- Accounting and bookkeeping: Financial documentation and working with clients' financial information
- Real estate and property: Property sales, property management or working with buyers and investors
- Sales and customer service: Relationship building, client communication and business development

You will ideally have:
- A Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An interest in finance, lending and property
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to build trust and develop long-term client relationships
- A commitment to career development and compliance

Previous mortgage broking experience is not essential. We welcome candidates from related industries who are looking to apply their existing skills in a new career.
