NUSOL Services Pty Ltd is seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced NDIS Support Workers to join our growing team.
We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting people with disabilities to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist participants with personal care, hygiene and daily living activities.
- Support community access, shopping and social participation.
- Assist with meal preparation, household duties and light cleaning.
- Provide companionship, encouragement and emotional support.
- Assist participants with appointments and transportation.
- Promote independence, choice and control.
- Maintain accurate progress notes and report any concerns.
- Follow individual support plans and NDIS Code of Conduct requirements.
Essential Requirements Applicants must have or be willing to obtain the following before commencing relevant duties:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check – Current clearance required for this position.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) – Required for roles involving child-related work.
- National Police Check – Current check required by company policy.
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) – Current.
- CPR Certificate (HLTAID009) – Current.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You.
- Valid Australian driver's licence.
- Reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance where participant transport is required.
- Working rights in Australia.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Understanding of participant privacy, confidentiality and safeguarding.
Highly Desirable
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working with NDIS participants.
- Experience supporting people with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities or psychosocial support needs.
- Manual handling and safe transfer training.
- Medication assistance training where relevant.
