Hays Technology is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company seeking an experienced NetSuite Application Manager to take ownership of its NetSuite platform and play a pivotal role in the ongoing optimisation of business-critical systems.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on NetSuite professional who enjoys combining technical expertise, solution design and business engagement. You will be the go-to expert for NetSuite across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, inventory, warehousing and sales functions, ensuring the platform remains stable, scalable and aligned to business objectives.

Initially, this role will focus heavily on technical support, solution delivery and platform optimisation, before evolving into a more strategic position centred around governance, continuous improvement and the long-term NetSuite roadmap.

The Opportunity

As the NetSuite Application Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of the ERP environment, partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to improve processes, increase efficiency and maximise platform capability.

You will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable system solutions, leading configuration and enhancement activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring best-practice governance across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

NetSuite Platform Ownership

- Act as the primary owner and escalation point for all NetSuite-related matters
- Provide hands-on support across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Inventory, Warehousing and Sales
- Manage system configuration, workflows, forms, roles and permissions
- Investigate and resolve complex system, integration and data issues
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions




- Monitor platform health and proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities

Solution Design & Delivery

- Lead the design and implementation of NetSuite enhancements and integrations
- Translate business requirements into scalable and practical ERP solutions
- Assess the impact of proposed changes across systems, workflows and business processes
- Configure and optimise workflows, customisations and integrations
- Drive testing, release management and change control activities
- Work closely with external NetSuite partners and technical specialists

Business Improvement & Optimisation

- Partner with business leaders to identify process improvement opportunities
- Improve automation and streamline operational workflows
- Increase adoption of standard NetSuite functionality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the ERP landscape
- Support greater operational efficiency through technology enablement

Data, Reporting & Governance

- Maintain data integrity and master data standards
- Enhance dashboards, saved searches and operational reporting
- Ensure appropriate governance across security, access and system changes
- Maintain system documentation and process standards
- Deliver training and support to end users and key stakeholders

Roadmap & Vendor Management

- Manage relationships with NetSuite support partners and consultants
- Prioritise enhancement backlogs and business requirements




- Develop and maintain the long-term NetSuite roadmap
- Reduce reliance on external providers through capability uplift and knowledge sharing

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- 3+ years' hands-on NetSuite administration, configuration and support experience within an end-user environment
- Strong experience as a NetSuite Application Manager, Solution Architect, Senior Consultant or Technical/Functional Consultant
- Proven ability to design and deliver end-to-end NetSuite solutions across multiple business functions
- Experience supporting NetSuite within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of workflows, security, roles, permissions, integrations, reporting and customisation
- Functional understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory and Manufacturing processes
- Experience troubleshooting complex ERP, integration and data-related issues
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
- The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

Highly Regarded

- NetSuite scripting and integration experience
- ERP governance and data management expertise
- Experience stabilising or optimising mature NetSuite environments
- Exposure to ERP implementations or large-scale transformation projects
- NetSuite certifications or relevant qualified training
