About the Job

Sodexo have an influential leadership opportunity at one of our remote sites in the South Australia. We’re looking for anAssistant Village Manager to join our team to oversee and manage village operations. We want you to bring your passion for safety and people management to our team

- Managing multiple departments within contracted scope of work includinghousekeeping, catering, building & maintenance and administration
- Build and strengthenclient relationships while delivering outstanding customer service
- Lead, development and manage a diverse work force ensuring they understand role and can meet performance objectives
- Full financial performance and P&L; responsibility with a focus on labor and food costs
- Identify areas for improvement and utilise our systems, policies and procedures with a view towards improving the efficiency of village operations

About You

You’ll have a client and consumer centric approach to service as well as need to posses the below essentials to be considered for the role:

- Financial acumen with proven experienceimplementing cost saving initiatives and meeting budgets
- Familiar with HACCP compliance andremote site HSE requirements
- Proven ability to negotiate, influence, listen, guide and interact effectively with all stakeholders




- Solid understanding of HR processes and cultural competence
- Strong peoplemanagement skills and provenability to build and support team cohesion
- Excellent computer, compliance and reporting skills
- Accommodation reservation experience is preferred but not essential

Previous remote site experience is highly desirable. In lieu of remote experience, extensive hospitality experience at a general manager level will be transferable to this opportunity.
