Earlwood Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our small, established team.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys dealing with people, has a warm and approachable personality and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking stable, long term employment with regular weekday hours in a friendly community pharmacy.

The position is primarily a front of shop role, working alongside our experienced Retail Manager, who oversees retail operations across our group of pharmacies. As a small pharmacy, everyone helps out wherever needed, so we are looking for an all rounder who is flexible, takes initiative and enjoys being part of a close team.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include

- Providing friendly, professional and personalised customer service.
- Building valuable relationships with our regular customers and making everyone feel welcome.
- Assisting customers with pharmacy, health and personal care products.
- Supporting our Retail Manager with stock ordering, receiving deliveries and managing stock.
- Merchandising, maintaining displays and keeping the pharmacy well presented.
- Stock control and general retail duties.
- Assisting with dispensary support tasks under pharmacist supervision when required.
- Helping with the general day to day running of the pharmacy.

Who we are looking for Previous community pharmacy experience would be an advantage, but we would also consider someone with good retail experience and a willingness to learn.

Personality and attitude are particularly important to us.

Hours and availability Consistent weekday availability is essential.

We are looking for someone available Monday to Friday, preferably five days per week, although we will consider applicants available for a minimum of four weekdays.

You must be available at least from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on your working days, with longer hours available.

No weekend work is required.

As we are a small team, we need someone who can commit to a regular, dependable roster throughout the year.

This position will not suit applicants whose availability changes frequently due to university timetables, placements, examinations or other commitments.
