This is a rare opportunity for an experienced engineering leader who enjoys developing people just as much as delivering great technical outcomes.
You'll take ownership of a growing design function, providing leadership, direction and mentoring to a team of engineers while remaining involved in the delivery of complex electrical engineering projects. Team leadership experience is a critical requirement for the role, and you will be required to demonstrate this capability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of electrical design engineers
- Driving a culture of accountability, collaboration and technical excellence
- Managing the delivery of engineering designs to agreed scope, budget and schedule
- Working closely with clients and stakeholders to define and refine project requirements
- Supporting the successful delivery of complex electrical,
automation and control systems projects
- Providing technical leadership and guidance across the project lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing engineering teams
- Strong background in electrical design engineering at a senior or principal level
- Experience delivering projects within sectors such as energy, utilities, transport, manufacturing, resources or industrial automation
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and client management skills
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
- Eligibility for engineering registration in South Australia
- Australian Citizenship is required
