This is an opportunity for an experienced Principal Network Architect to take a leading role in shaping the design, scalability and long-term direction of a sophisticated network environment.

- Lead the architecture and design of complex, large-scale network environments.
- Develop technical strategies, reference architectures and design standards to support future growth.
- Drive network performance, resilience, scalability and operational efficiency.
- Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Partner with engineering teams, technology vendors and external service providers to deliver robust network solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across major infrastructure initiatives, including design reviews, implementation planning and operational handover.
- Mentor experienced engineers and influence architectural best practices across the organisation.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

What we're looking for
- 12+ years' experience across network engineering and architecture, ideally within telecommunications, service providers,



cloud or large-scale technology environments.
- Extensive experience designing and delivering complex, high-availability network infrastructure.
- Strong technical expertise across IP networking, routing protocols and MPLS.
- Experience with optical transport technologies and large-scale connectivity solutions.
- Proven experience developing network architectures, technical standards and design documentation.
- Strong understanding of network resilience, redundancy, performance optimisation and capacity planning.
- Experience evaluating technology vendors and influencing strategic technical decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex architectural discussions with both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
