Integration and Development Architecture Lead

We're seeking an experienced Integration Architect / Enterprise Architect to establish and uplift integration and development architecture capability within a large enterprise environment.

This six-month engagement focuses on defining enterprise-wide architecture strategies, governance, standards and reusable patterns across integration, APIs, middleware and modern development practices.

The Role

- Establish current and target state integration and development architecture.
- Develop enterprise integration strategies, standards and reference architectures.
- Define architectural approaches across APIs, middleware, messaging and event-driven integration.
- Establish development architecture standards covering DevOps, CI/CD and software engineering practices.
- Build and populate the enterprise architecture repository.
- Create reusable, preapproved patterns to accelerate solution design and delivery.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to uplift internal capability and transfer knowledge.

About You

- Extensive experience as an Integration Architect, Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect or Domain Architect.
- Robust background in enterprise integration, APIs, middleware and event-driven architecture.
- Understanding of modern development practices, DevOps and CI/CD.
- Proven experience establishing architecture strategies, standards, governance and reusable patterns.
- Ability to influence technical stakeholders and deliver clearly defined architecture outcomes.
- Experience in complex enterprise, utilities or critical infrastructure environments will be highly regarded.
