Who we’re looking for

Someone with 1 to 3 years in recruitment who’s fiercely competitive and won’t settle for valuable enough. Bonus points if you’ve competed seriously in sport at the state, national, or professional level, or anything else that meant years of early starts and putting in the work when no one was watching. Knowledge of quant markets helps but isn’t essential. We’ll teach you the market. We can’t teach the drive.

What you’ll actually be doing

You’ll start on the candidate side, working alongside senior consultants on live mandates, then grow into a full 360 role bringing in your own clients.

- Headhunting quantitative traders and portfolio managers for high frequency trading firms and tier 1 hedge funds
- Building long-term relationships with hard to reach candidates who aren’t on job boards and aren’t looking
- Mapping specific niches properly, to the point where you know who the best people are before a client asks
- Screening, qualifying and managing candidates through interview processes on live mandates
- Using our AI and automation stack to kill the admin so your time goes into calls and meetings
- Over time, moving into business development: opening new accounts, winning mandates and running deals from brief to close

What you need on paper

- 1 to 3 years in agency recruitment, ideally in technology or financial services but not a hard requirement
- Proven headhunting ability. You’re comfortable sourcing passive candidates, not just posting ads




- Confident picking up the phone and speaking to a client or candidate and holding the conversation
- Ambition to build your own desk and client base

What's in it for you $75,000 to $110,000 base plus super depending on experience, and up to 50% commission on top. It’s uncapped with no clawbacks, so $200k+ OTE is very achievable.
