The Opportunity

As a Job Coach with Marriott Support Services (Part of Meridia) – Enviro Management Services team based in Forest Hill, This hands on leadership role is responsible for overseeing grounds maintenance services at Forest Gardens Estate, supervising supported employees and labourers, maintaining equipment and site standards whilst providing outstanding customer service to residents and stakeholders.

As mentioned, this is a hands on role where no two days are the same. You’ll lead by example, ensuring safety, quality, and inclusion in every job while fostering a positive, respectful team setting

About You

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional who can work independently, lead inclusive teams and ensure high quality service delivery across the site.

- Providing person centred support and guidance to employees in line with NDIS standards
- Supervising gardening, mowing, and horticultural work within the community
- Operating equipment such as brush cutters, hedgers, pole saws and ride on mowers
- Planning, prioritising and meeting daily work schedules – responsible for maintaining common areas, front gardens for 190 properties
- Daily reporting requirements and daily site inspections




- Maintaining equipment

Skills and Experience

- Experience leading or mentoring a small team
- Qualifications or extensive experience in horticulture, gardening, or landscaping
- Qualifications and experience in dealing with chemicals
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and support people of all abilities
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (essential or willingness to obtain)
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence (essential or willingness to obtain)
