Relay Labour Hire is looking for skilled, ticketed construction workers across Melbourne, including steel fixers, riggers, doggers and concreters. We have immediate starts and ongoing work for reliable people who take pride in doing the job right.
Steel fixing, including laying and tying reinforcement mesh (nips and belt)
Rigging and dogging, including slinging loads and directing crane lifts
Concrete pours, including placing, spreading and finishing
Civil and general construction labouring
Site preparation, setting up and cleaning up on residential, commercial and civil sites
What you’ll receive
- $50–$65 per hour + super, based on your experience and tickets
- Higher rates for riggers, doggers and experienced steel fixers
- Travel allowance where applicable
- Weekly pay
- Immediate starts and ongoing work across Melbourne
What you’ll need
- Construction experience in steel fixing, rigging, dogging or concreting
- Valid White Card
- Your own steel-capped boots and basic PPE
- Your own trade tools (for example nips and a tool belt for mesh work)
- Reliable transport to get to sites
- Full Australian working rights
- A valuable work ethic, punctuality and a safety-first attitude
- Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging (RB / RI / RA)
- Working at Heights
- EWP (yellow card or WP licence)
- Telehandler or Crane licence
- Concrete Pump or Line Pump experience
- Confined Space
- Traffic Control / Traffic Management
- First Aid
- Driver's licence (HR or MR a bonus)
