Respirator Fit Tester – Full Training Provided | Perth

Fit Test Australia (FTA) helps organisations across Australia protect their people through high-quality respiratory and workplace health compliance services. We work with healthcare, construction, mining, energy, utilities and government.

We’re looking for a full-time Respirator Fit Tester based in Leederville, Perth, to support our growing Western Australian operations. No fit testing experience is needed, because we provide full training. What matters is a robust work ethic, attention to detail, great communication and a genuine desire to help people.

What we offer

- Travel throughout WA, with occasional interstate work. Kilometers are reimbursed, and flights and accommodation are covered for regional work.

The role You’ll deliver testing at our Perth clinic and on-site at client workplaces across WA, including:

- Quantitative respirator fit testing (P2/N95, half-face and full-face respirators)
- Hearing Protection Device (HPD) fit testing
- Educating workers on the correct use, storage and maintenance of their protective equipment
- Managing your schedule, bookings and client coordination




- Maintaining and calibrating testing equipment, and managing consumable stock
- Completing daily reports and accurate testing records
- Building strong relationships with clients

Testing often happens in busy environments with groups of workers waiting. You’ll need to stay calm and organised and make sure everyone gets clear guidance and a positive experience.

About you

We welcome applicants from healthcare support, emergency services, safety, customer service, administration or field-based technical backgrounds. You’ll need:

- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and professional presentation
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence with Microsoft Office and Gmail
- A valid Australian driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle
- Flexibility to travel, including some early starts and regional trips
- Australian work rights
