Yaochii operates a premier Asian supermarket in Sydney. The store specializes in a wide range of imported Asian goods and liquor. Providing the best one-stop Asian shopping experience in Sydney. The supermarket and bottle shop also sell products on online platforms.

Yaochii is seeking an experienced Marketing specialist to join the team full time. To apply for this position, you need to have minimum 2-year of working experience in a similar role.

Duties & responsibilities

· Oversee the daily operations of a busy Asian supermarket, setting priorities and holding teams accountable for sales, service and store standards.

· Supervise stock management and product range across dry goods, fresh, frozen and chilled categories, and approve purchase orders to control wastage and shrinkage.

· Manage supplier and importer relationships, negotiating pricing, payment terms and delivery arrangements.

· Set retail and promotional pricing, and oversee marketing campaigns with the Marketing Specialist, including festive promotions.

· Develop and manage budgets, monitor sales,



labour and operating costs, and report performance to the Director with recommendations for improvement.

· Recruit, train, roster and supervise store staff, leading the team to meet performance targets and coaching supervisors to maintain high service standards.

· Supervise the resolution of staff issues and escalated customer complaints, including those from customers of diverse cultural backgrounds.

· Oversee compliance with work health and safety, food safety, cold-chain and labelling requirements.

· Coordinate stock and staffing plans for peak periods.

Preferred Qualification

1、Diploma or higher qualification.

2、Relevant experience: Proven expertise in team leadership, inventory management, financial oversight, and marketing strategies.

3、A minimum of 12 months of retail management experience
