Experienced Jewellery Sales Assistant – Full Time

Elysium Jewellers is a well-established, family-owned and operated jewellery store in Busselton. We are seeking an experienced, reliable and professional Sales Assistant to join our friendly team on a permanent full-time basis.

Previous jewellery retail experience is highly desirable, however, we would also welcome applications from experienced retail sales professionals who demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, reliability and a genuine interest in jewellery.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys building relationships with customers and is seeking a reliable, long-term position.

As a family-run business with two onsite manufacturing jewellers, we offer a varied and rewarding role involving jewellery sales, customer service, repairs, custom-made jewellery and the day-to-day operation of our store.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position requiring someone who is organised, trustworthy and confident working both independently and as part of a team.

Your responsibilities will include

- Providing professional, friendly and knowledgeable jewellery sales and customer service
- Assisting customers with jewellery purchases, engagement rings, wedding bands and special occasion gifts
- Liaising with customers and our two onsite manufacturing jewellers regarding jewellery repairs, alterations and custom-made jewellery
- Managing customer repair enquiries, bookings and manufacturing orders
- Merchandising and maintaining attractive jewellery displays
- Receiving, checking,



pricing and managing stock
- Setting up jewellery displays and preparing the store for trade each morning
- Packing away and securely storing jewellery at the end of each day
- Following established store procedures and security requirements
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional retail environment
- Assisting with the general day-to-day operation of the business

About You

We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous jewellery retail experience or a strong background in retail sales
- Is confident in sales and enjoys providing exceptional customer service
- Has a genuine interest in jewellery and a willingness to learn
- Is honest, reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Has a mature, professional and responsible approach to their work
- Is well presented, friendly and approachable
- Is organised with excellent attention to detail
- Can work independently and confidently without constant supervision
- Works well as part of a small team
- Can follow established procedures and take responsibility for completing daily tasks
- Is comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems
- Is seeking long-term, full-time employment
