Christmas casual positions with potential for ongoing work

Love photography, creativity and working with people? Come make something special with us this Christmas!

ALLWOOD Prints transforms customers' favourite photos into personalised gifts printed directly onto real timber. We're looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic casual team members to join our Rockhampton flagship store during the busy Christmas season.

This isn't your average retail job!

You'll help customers turn their favourite memories into meaningful gifts while gaining hands-on experience with photo editing, Photoshop and AI-assisted creative tools.

No Photoshop experience? No worries! We provide training. A positive attitude, creativity and a willingness to learn matter more than previous editing experience.

What you'll be doing

- Helping customers choose and prepare photos for printing

- Learning Photoshop, photo editing and practical AI tools

- Assisting with printing, finishing and presenting personalised timber gifts

- Providing friendly customer service in a busy, creative retail environment

- Keeping the store organised and ensuring every customer leaves with something special

Who we're looking for

- Friendly, confident people who enjoy working with customers

- Creative thinkers with an eye for detail

- Reliable team players who can also work independently

- People who are curious, adaptable and enjoy learning recent skills

- Flexible availability, including weekends and the lead-up to Christmas

Christmas availability is essential ?

Our busiest trading period is the weeks leading up to Christmas Eve, so we're particularly looking for people who can commit to working consistently throughout this period, including weekends.

The prospect doesn't necessarily end at Christmas!

Unlike our seasonal pop-up locations, our Rockhampton flagship store operates year-round.

For the right person, there may be opportunities to continue working with us beyond Christmas, including regular casual shifts and future seasonal events.

We're interested in building relationships with good people who enjoy what we do.
