Fidato Services is looking for an experienced Rope Access Supervisor to lead a crew on building maintenance and repair projects across Brisbane. You'll work hands-on and run the job: planning access, supervising technicians, keeping safety paperwork current and making sure the work is done properly the first time.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a rope access crew on facade work, including washing, repairs, sealing, waterproofing, painting and inspections
- Rig and set up rope access systems and plan each job around the building and condition
- Prepare and run safety documentation: SWMS, toolbox talks, rescue plans and daily checks
- Keep equipment inspected and logged, and sign off on the quality of completed work
- Liaise with project managers and in office contacts about access, progress and programme
- Use the company vehicle to travel between job sites and the yard
About you
- Current IRATA Level 3 with a logbook to match.
Level 2 will be considered if you have strong leadership experience
- Supervisory or crew leader experience on rope access jobs
- Construction white card and a current Queensland driver's licence (required for the vehicle)
- A strong safety record and a practical, problem-solving approach
- Good communication skills, since you'll deal with crews, project managers and building contacts
- Trade qualification in painting or carpentry, or experience with sealants, waterproofing or concrete repair, is desirable
- Your own harness and basic tools are favourable
