REM Projects is seeking an experienced S26 Electrical Supervisor for FIFO work on mining projects and shutdowns in the Pilbara and Goldfields regions of Western Australia. You will lead REM and subcontractor crews on site, manage permits and coordination with the client, and deliver works safely, on time and to a high standard. Applications are welcome from candidates Australia-wide, with flights from Perth.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the S26 supervisor for REM and subcontractor crews on site
- Plan, coordinate and supervise electrical installation, testing and commissioning works
- Manage permits, isolations, JHAs, pre-starts and toolbox meetings
- Liaise with client representatives and other contractors on sequencing and site interfaces
- Check and sign off daily timesheets and day work sheets, and report progress
- Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000, site standards and WA mining safety requirements
- Mentor and develop electricians and apprentices on site
Skills & Qualifications
- WA A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Proven experience as an S26 supervisor on WA mine sites
- Experience supervising electrical crews on mining,
heavy industrial or shutdown projects
- Current driver's licence
- Construction White Card
- Current First Aid certificate
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
- Working at Heights, EWP, Confined Space and CPR/LVR tickets highly regarded
- HV switching, instrumentation or commissioning experience a bonus
