PMM Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Underground Shift Supervisor to join a growing underground mining operation at the Merlin Mine Site.
This is an outstanding prospect to secure premium rates, super paid on all hours worked, an even-time roster and long-term project stability while leading a skilled underground mining team.
Working closely with site management, you will play a key role in driving safety, production performance and workforce leadership across underground operations.
- Lead and supervise underground mining crews
- Ensure safe execution of daily production and development activities
- Monitor productivity and underground performance targets
- Conduct workplace inspections and safety interactions
- Coordinate workforce and equipment utilisation
- Mentor and develop underground personnel
- Complete end-of-shift reporting and handovers
- Liaise with site management and technical services teams
- Promote a strong safety and performance culture

Essential Requirements
- Previous Underground Shift Supervisor Experience
- Underground Hard Rock Mining Experience
- Strong Leadership and Communication Skills
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong Commitment to Safety
- Ability to Pass a Full Pre-Employment Medical
- Ability to Pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Clean National Police Clearance Required
