SAP ABAP Developer || Contract till July 2027 || Hybrid Role

Role: SAP ABAP Developer

Location: Clayton, VIC (3 Days/Week In Office)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop and support scalable SAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments. You will work with business analysts, functional consultants and technical teams to deliver system enhancements, integrations and ongoing production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test and support SAP ABAP solutions.
- Develop reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows and custom applications.
- Build and support SOAP/REST web services, SAP Gateway and OData integrations.
- Develop and enhance SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori applications.
- Support integrations using SAP CPI, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi or similar middleware.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimise application performance.
- Prepare technical specifications, conduct code reviews and maintain documentation.
- Ensure code complies with SAP standards and S/4HANA requirements using tools such as ATC.





Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong experience with Object-Oriented ABAP, ALV, Function Modules, BAdIs, User Exits and Enhancement Framework.
- Experience with SmartForms, Adobe Forms or SAPscript.
- Robust knowledge of RFC/BAPI, IDocs, XML/JSON, SOAP and REST APIs.
- Experience with SAP Gateway, OData services and external system integrations.
- Exposure to SAPUI5, Fiori, JavaScript, XML, HTML5 and CSS.
- Familiarity with SAP transport management and development lifecycle.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
