We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Supervisor to join our growing team on a part-time basis, 3 days per week (21 hours).

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys more than just getting the work out the door. You'll have the opportunity to support our existing Managers, mentor and develop team members, review work, work directly with clients and get involved in tax planning and special project advisory work.

What you'll be doing

You'll work closely with our existing Managers and wider accounting team, providing technical support, guidance and leadership while continuing to work across a diverse range of clients and matters.

Your day-to-day will include (but isn't limited to):

- Supporting existing Managers with team dynamics, workflow and day-to-day team support
- Taking up overflow client work during busy periods and helping the team meet deadlines
- Training, mentoring and developing team members, sharing your knowledge and experience
- Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and other work for quality, compliance and accuracy
- Identifying and assisting with tax planning opportunities for clients
- Working directly with clients, providing professional advice and client liaison
- Assisting with special projects and advisory work, providing practical solutions and commercial advice
- Working closely with Managers and team members to maintain high standards of client service
- Providing guidance on technical matters and supporting the ongoing development of our team





About you

- 8+ years with a strong experience in a public practice accounting firm
- Solid technical knowledge across taxation, compliance and financial reporting
- Confident reviewing work and providing constructive feedback to team members
- A natural mentor who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others develop
- Robust client relationship and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your work
- Commercially minded, with an interest in tax planning and advisory work
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Someone who enjoys being part of a team and contributing to a positive workplace culture
