Senior to Associate Civil Engineer – 12D - Roads & Highway Infrastructure

Connectted is partnering with a boutique engineering consultancy seeking a Senior to Associate Civil Engineer with strong 12D design experience across road and highway infrastructure projects .

Based in Richmond and delivering interstate projects, this consultancy is entering an exciting stage of growth. With plans to build a team of 15–25 staff , this is an opportunity to join early, help shape the business and become a vital part of its future.

The opportunity

Working alongside an industry expert, you’ll contribute to a varied portfolio spanning freeways, intersections, temporary works, culverts & bridge structures and risk analysis .

Alongside hands-on design and project delivery, you’ll have the chance to lead and develop a team, strengthen client relationships and help expand a business with significant growth potential over the coming years.

Your role

- Highway design using 12D, taking ownership of technical delivery and design quality.
- Work closely with an industry expert and a young and ambitious team on complex and varied engineering challenges.
- Help recruit,



mentor and develop a growing engineering team.
- Assist with building client relationships and contribute to new project opportunities.
- Play an active role in shaping the consultancy’s technical capability, culture and future direction.

About you

- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
- Strong road and highway design experience within a consulting environment in Australia.
- Confident, hands-on proficiency in 12D.
- Sound knowledge of Austroads guidelines and relevant road authority standards.
- Ability to lead design packages and communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
- A desire to take ownership, develop people and contribute to business growth.
