We’re looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our Rydalmere Support Office.

Reporting to the Pre-Construction Manager , you’ll lead design from early concept through construction and handover, bringing together clients, consultants and our construction teams to achieve compliant, buildable and well-resolved outcomes.

This is a role with genuine influence, solving design challenges early and helping shape how our projects are ultimately delivered.

Your Role

You will

- Lead design from concept through construction and handover.
- Translate client requirements into transparent design briefs and deliverables.
- Lead architects, consultants and key design stakeholders.
- Drive DA, Construction Certificate and design approvals.
- Ensure documentation meets NCC, relevant standards and project requirements.
- Resolve design, coordination and buildability issues early.
- Work closely with Pre-Construction, Project Management and Construction teams.
- Mentor design team members and drive continuous improvement.

Who You Are You’re an experienced design leader who knows how to drive decisions,



challenge issues early and turn complex design requirements into practical construction outcomes.

You’ll bring

- Significant design management experience across the development and construction lifecycle.
- Proven experience delivering Class 2 residential projects valued at $30M+.
- Strong consultant management, coordination, approvals and compliance experience.
- Strong understanding of buildability and the impact of design on programme, cost and quality.
- Confidence working with clients, consultants and construction teams.
- Qualifications in Design Management, Project Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
