About the Role

We are partnering with a top-tier EPC company specializing in Renewable Energy and Transmission & Distribution (T&D;) to identify a skilled Senior Engineer for Building Services. This is a key leadership opportunity within a growing organization, focusing on high-quality engineering solutions for fire systems, security, HVAC, and light & power.

The role is Adelaide-based, requiring hands-on collaboration at the office and manufacturing facilities. It involves close interaction with designers, trades, and technical teams to deliver outstanding solutions.

Your Responsibilities

- Lead and Direct Projects: Provide visionary engineering leadership across building services projects.
- Detailed Design Expertise: Design and oversee implementations across key systems like fire systems, security, HVAC, and light & power.
- Compliance Authority: Ensure all designs adhere to the National Construction Code (NCC) and other relevant standards, while also signing off engineering outputs as the compliance authority.
- Team Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with experienced designers and technical professionals, fostering talent and sharing knowledge.
- Client Interaction: Build sound working relationships with clients in industries such as Defence, mining, T&D; substations, and data centres to tailor effective solutions.
- Seamless Execution: Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and quality-driven implementation of designs.
- Uphold Safety & Quality Standards: Maintain top-tier engineering accuracy and safety protocols.

What We're Looking For

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields).




- Expertise: Proven experience in building services engineering, with deep proficiency in at least two areas: fire systems, security, HVAC, light & power.
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of the NCC and other regulatory standards.
- Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and communicate effectively within diverse teams.
- Skilled Credentials: Professional Engineering registration or equivalent qualification (preferred).
- Sector Experience: Exposure to projects in the Defence, substations, mining (control rooms), and/or data centre sectors (highly regarded).

What Your Day Looks Like

- Collaborate with design teams to craft and revise engineering solutions to achieve project goals.
- Review designs to ensure compliance and provide approvals as a technical authority.
- Provide guidance and mentorship, fostering excellence within the team.
- Engage directly with clients to align solutions with their requirements.
- Work on-site in Lonsdale to oversee implementations and ensure seamless delivery.
- Partner with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
