Evolve Talent are supporting a growing civil & pipeline construction contractor in Brisbane, in their search for a Senior Estimator.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands civil construction, knows how projects are built, and can take a tender from drawings and scope through to a competitive, commercially sound estimate.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the end-to-end estimating process, including:

- Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, specifications and scopes
- Completing detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities
- Preparing project estimates and cost plans
- Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Pricing labour, materials, plant and subcontractor costs
- Identifying project risks, exclusions and commercial opportunities
- Preparing and submitting competitive tenders
- Working closely with project delivery teams to ensure estimates are practical and buildable
- Building and maintaining robust relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
- Supporting tender strategy and project pricing

About You

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Estimator who can work autonomously and has genuine experience estimating civil construction projects.

You'll ideally have

- Proven experience as a Civil Estimator / Senior Estimator
- Strong experience across pipelines, drainage, concrete, utilities or general civil infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience managing tenders from start to finish




- A strong understanding of civil construction methodologies
- The ability to complete your own take-offs, pricing and cost build-ups
- Established subcontractor and supplier relationships
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to take ownership and work with minimal hand-holding
