About the role

Cabal Hair is seeking experienced Senior Hairdressers/Stylists and 3rd Year Apprentices to join our dynamic team in Adelaide. This is a full-time position based at our salon located in Adelaide SA 5000. As a Senior Hairdresser/Stylist or 3rd Year Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional hair services to our valued clients whilst maintaining the high standards and creative vision that Cabal Hair is known for.

Key responsibilities

As a Senior Hairdresser/Stylist or 3rd Year Apprentice, you will:

- Provide high-quality hair cutting, styling, colouring and treatment services to clients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, preferences and concerns, offering expert advice and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and organised workstation throughout the day
- Stay up to date with current hair trends, techniques and products within the industry
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and client loyalty
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and apprentices (for Senior Stylists)
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues
- Follow all health and safety procedures and salon policies
- Manage client bookings efficiently and ensure punctuality for appointments
- Continue developing technical skills and industry knowledge throughout your career

What we're looking for For Senior Hairdresser/Stylist positions, we are seeking:





- A recognised hairdressing qualification or equivalent industry certification
- Minimum 3-5 years' professional experience in a salon environment
- Demonstrated expertise in cutting, colouring, styling and hair treatments
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in contemporary and classic techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- A proactive approach to professional development and staying current with industry trends
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- A passion for delivering outstanding client service and results

For 3rd Year Apprentices, we are seeking:

- Completion of your first two years of an accredited hairdressing apprenticeship
- A solid foundation in hairdressing techniques, including cutting, colouring and styling
- Enthusiasm and commitment to completing your apprenticeship qualification
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn from experienced stylists
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and colleagues
- Reliability and punctuality
- A genuine passion for the hair and beauty industry
