Our client is an Australian-owned HVAC and mechanical services contractor with more than 20 years in the industry. They have a strong reputation for the design, installation, service and maintenance of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, and they work at the forefront of building management systems (BMS) and energy management technology.
Recent large project wins and a strong pipeline mean they now need a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the engineering team immediately.
The role
- Lead mechanical and HVAC building services design across commercial, residential, mixed-use, education and student accommodation projects
- Manage projects from concept through to construction
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams
- Attend client and design meetings and manage key client relationships
- Produce high-quality engineering documentation
- The role is fully office based,
with no site work required
About you
- Proven consulting engineering experience in mechanical building services
- Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC requirements and local authority approvals
- Confident project coordinator and client manager
- A design-heavy background is preferred but not essential for the right person
- Mechanical Engineering degree or similar
