Job Title: Senior Medical Receptionist (Experienced)

Location: Ipswich and surrounds

Salary Range: $34 – $43 per hour + superannuation (commensurate with experience)

The Role:

We are seeking an autonomous, highly organized, and experienced Senior Medical Receptionist to anchor our front-desk operations and champion the patient journey. This is a leadership-focused support role where you will balance high-level medical administration with patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage front-desk flow, patient triage, and phone queues with empathy and professionalism.




- Coordinate complex appointment books, specialist bookings, and billings.
- Utilize practice management software (Best Practice / MedicalDirector ) and systems like HotDoc seamlessly.
- Support staff training, onboarding of junior administration staff, and ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Handle electronic medical records (EMR), scanning, and data entry with strict confidentiality.
