Assistant Director – Discover My World Early Learning, Crows Nest Full-time |

Help us build something special. Discover My World is a family-owned early learning group opening our newest service in Crows Nest – a 74-place, purpose-built centre beside the new Crows Nest Metro. This is a rare chance to help build a team and a culture from scratch. We're looking for an energetic, organised Assistant Director who's excited to lead alongside our Centre Director from day one.

What you'll do

- Support the Centre Director with the day-to-day running of the service

- Lead, coach and mentor a brand-new team of educators

- Help recruit, onboard and build a positive, supportive team culture

- Build strong relationships with families and grow enrolments

- Support compliance with the National Quality Framework and NQS

- Step into the Responsible Person role when the Director is away

What you'll bring





- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) – ECT qualification highly regarded

- Leadership experience in long day care (2IC, Room Leader or similar)

- Solid knowledge of the NQF, NQS and EYLF V2.0

- Eligible to be a Nominated Supervisor / Responsible Person

- Working With Children Check, First Aid (HLTAID012), Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, Child Protection training

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
