Red Sparrow Pizza is looking for a pizza chef to join our team at our Fitzroy venue!

We’re an independent, 100% plant based pizzeria serving hand stretched pizza with creative toppings. Located in the heart of Fitzroy, alongside the Rose St Artists’ Market, we’re all about great food, good vibes and doing things a little differently.

We’re looking for someone who loves working with food, thrives in a busy kitchen and takes pride in putting out consistently great pizzas.

What you’ll be doing

- Preparing and cooking pizzas in our Marana Forni oven.
- Working with fresh ingredients and quality dough
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly
- Working closely with the team during busy service
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and food safety

What we’re looking for

- Previous pizza making - being able to hand stretch consistently to a high level is essential.
- Experience with high temperature stone deck/wood fire ovens is a bonus
- A good work ethic and a positive attitude




- Ability to work well under pressure during busy services
- Reliability, attention to detail and a team-first mindset
- An interest in plant based food is a bonus, but not essential
