We’re looking for a Senior Paid Media Specialist who can take ownership of paid media campaigns, turn performance data into actionable insights and deliver measurable results for clients.
This isn’t a role where you simply execute briefs and report on what happened. You’ll bring ideas, identify opportunities, challenge performance and recommend what to do next. You’ll have the autonomy to manage campaigns end to end, with the support of an integrated team spanning strategy, creative, media, data and technology.
About the role
You’ll manage the day-to-day delivery and optimisation of paid media campaigns across a portfolio of clients, working across channels including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok. You’ll develop media strategies and plans, build and manage campaigns, monitor budgets and performance, and make sure every campaign is set up to deliver against client objectives.
Working closely with account management, creative and technology teams, you’ll help connect media strategy with compelling creative and accurate tracking. You’ll be expected to bring strategic thinking, fresh ideas and channel testing opportunities to the table, rather than simply waiting for a brief.
You’ll also be responsible for making performance easy to understand. That means providing clear reporting, explaining what the numbers mean and recommending practical next steps that improve results.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing paid media strategies and media plans that support client objectives, drive revenue and maximise return on advertising spend.
- Building, implementing and managing campaigns across Google Ads, including Search, Display, YouTube and Performance Max, as well as paid social across Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Researching keywords, competitors, audiences and market opportunities to identify ways to improve campaign performance and reach.
- Monitoring campaigns daily, optimising bids, audiences, placements and creative, and planning A/B tests to identify what works.
- Managing budgets and pacing spend against agreed plans, flagging under or overspend early and recommending adjustments where needed.
- Delivering monthly reporting for ongoing campaigns, post-campaign wrap reports and ad hoc performance updates, with clear insights and recommendations.
- Providing creative performance insights and recommendations to help inform future concepts, messaging and campaign development.
- Managing day-to-day client communication about campaign status, performance and recommendations, and confidently presenting results and next steps.
- Setting up and troubleshooting conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager and GA4, working with data and technology teams to maintain accurate measurement.
- Keeping optimisation logs, campaign trackers and internal documentation up to date so account information is accurate, accessible and easy for the team to work with.
- Staying across platform updates, algorithm changes, recent ad formats and industry trends, sharing relevant insights with clients and the wider team.
About you You’re an experienced paid media specialist who combines strong technical capability with commercial thinking and a genuine interest in what drives performance. You’re comfortable managing campaigns independently, juggling competing priorities and taking responsibility for results.
You understand that effective paid media goes beyond launching campaigns. It requires thoughtful planning, ongoing optimisation, accurate measurement and the ability to turn data into clear recommendations.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy solving problems, testing new ideas and working collaboratively with creative, account management and technology teams to deliver better outcomes for clients.
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- At least 6 years of paid media experience, ideally including experience working in an agency environment.
- Hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Meta campaigns end to end, with a strong working knowledge of LinkedIn and TikTok. Experience with Reddit advertising and programmatic media would also be valuable.
- Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and GA4, including setting up conversion tracking and identifying measurement issues.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with budgets, pacing sheets, performance reports and return on advertising spend.
- The ability to interpret performance data, identify trends and explain what has changed, why it matters and what should happen next.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients and present performance recommendations.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple clients, campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset. You take initiative, investigate problems and work through solutions before escalating where necessary.
- The ability to work collaboratively across media, creative, account management and technology, contributing ideas that improve campaign effectiveness.
Experience with Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications, social listening and social media management tools, programmatic platforms such as DV360, or dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio would also be beneficial. Why Windsorborn?
