About the Role
As a Support Worker with Brave Care, you’ll be providing day-to-day support to NDIS participants – helping them with daily activities, personal care, community access, and reaching their personal goals. No two days are the same, and that’s what makes this role so rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and daily living support
- Assisting with domestic duties such as cleaning, meal prep, and shopping
- Supporting clients to access the community and attend appointments or social events
- Encouraging independence and choice
- Documenting progress notes and communicating effectively with the support team
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Excellent communication and a positive, respectful attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility with availability, including weekends or evenings if needed
- Experience in the disability or community sector is a bonus – but not essential if you’re willing to learn
What You’ll Need
- Cert III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or similar
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (as per health regulations)
