Horner Recruitment is seeking reliable Joiners / Cabinet Makers to join an established manufacturer of acoustic timber products used throughout the construction industry.

Based in Hallam, this is an excellent opportunity to join a long standing team in a clean, modern workshop with a strong focus on quality, safety and staff training.

What's on Offer

- $34.40 per hour

- Casual ongoing work with the opportunity to go permanent

- Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm

- Approximately one hour of overtime per day

- Onsite parking available

- Full training provided

About the Role

You'll assist with the preparation and manufacture of acoustic timber panels, using hand tools, power tools and air tools to ensure products are finished to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and finish timber panels and acoustic products

- Operate hand, power and air tools, including grinders and sanders

- Assist with cutting, sanding, drilling and general assembly

- Measure, handle and position timber materials

- Check finished products for quality and consistency

- Maintain a clean and organised work area

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including dust control requirements





- Assist the production team to meet daily targets

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- Previous experience using hand, power or air tools

- Experience in joinery, cabinet making, timber work, construction or a workshop environment highly regarded

- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality

- A reliable, safety conscious approach to work

- Ability to perform hands on, physically demanding tasks

- Your own steel cap boots and high visibility clothing

- Reliable transport to Hallam

- Availability to commence immediately or at short notice
