We’re looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about women’s health and would love to help us grow the care and support we offer women at every stage of life.

Albert Road GP & Women’s Clinic is a private billing general practice in South Melbourne. Our services bring together GPs, midwives and other health professionals to support women’s health, contraception, pregnancy, postpartum care and general health.

As our women’s health services expand, we’re looking for someone who enjoys contributing ideas, building relationships with patients and helping turn new services into a valuable part of their care.

About the role

Alongside providing day-to-day practice nursing, you’ll help develop and coordinate our women’s health services, improve patient follow-up and make it easier for women to access the support they need.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting women’s health consultations and assisting with procedures, including IUD and contraceptive implant appointments
- Providing patient education and coordinating follow-up care
- Working closely with our GPs and midwives to support pregnancy and postpartum care
- Helping develop patient resources, clinical workflows and new service initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve the patient experience and continuity of care
- Providing immunisations, wound care,



health assessments and chronic disease management
- Maintaining clinical records, infection control processes, vaccine cold chain and clinical supplies

Clinical responsibilities will be aligned with your qualifications, training and scope of practice.

About you

You’ll bring:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- A strong interest in women’s health and a desire to develop your skills in this area
- A warm, approachable manner that helps patients feel comfortable discussing sensitive concerns
- Initiative, positive organisation and confidence taking ownership of your work
- An interest in helping build services as well as delivering clinical care
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Previous general practice or women’s health experience and nurse immuniser qualifications would be highly regarded.

Pay: $38.00 – $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 30.0 per week
