Role Summary
We are currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic Dance Teacher to help deliver PDHPE lessons this Term 4 - 2026 in Haberfield NSW.
Many of our programs are full-year programs, so you will be coaching the same classes and working with the same students and teachers each week, all year. This will provide you a glimpse into a teacher's life and give you an opportunity to see whether a future in teaching is for you. This is an amazing opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience in a supportive, inclusive and fun team and organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing day-to-day teaching, learning and instruction.
- Instructing students in the delivery of various physical education programs
- Implementing high quality age-appropriate lessons for primary school children.
- Promotion of the Fit Futures Brand to grow the company.
- Unlock students' true potential,
preparing them for unlimited success.
- Engage effectively with students, teaching staff, and colleagues, aligning with Fit Futures philosophy.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of dance teaching/coaching experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability during school hours of 8:30-3:30 pm
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Punctuality and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Fun, energetic, thoughtful, and ambitious.
Preferred but not required:
- Driver's Licence and own transport
