We’re looking for compassionate and reliable Part-time Housekeeping Assistants to join our team at Monash Gardens.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming environment by cleaning resident rooms and communal areas as directed by the Facility Manager, working a 9:00am to 5:00pm roster across a fortnightly schedule.

Your Responsibilities

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Complete daily cleaning tasks using the electronic cleaning system (tablet)
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchens, and laundry areas
- Perform floor care, including mopping, vacuuming, carpet maintenance, and bathroom cleaning
- Follow infection control procedures, including the correct use of colour-coded cleaning equipment
- Safely handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with OH&S; requirements




- Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure cleaning trolleys are stored safely
- Support accreditation and compliance requirements, including unannounced audits
- Monitor and maintain cleaning stock levels and report shortages as required

About You

- Experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning (Aged Care experience highly regarded)
- Computer literacy to report incidents and work completed via IPad
- A caring, respectful, and positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check ( Mandatory).
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (Highly encouraged).
