About Us

Leo’s Truck & Trailer Repairs Pty Ltd is a family owned truck and trailer repair workshop based in Wetherill Park, specialising in the servicing, maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles and machinery. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

We are seeking a reliable, motivated and skilled mechanic who takes pride in their workmanship, has strong diagnostic abilities and can work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults in heavy diesel trucks and trailers.
- Perform routine servicing, preventative maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
- Inspect, dismantle, repair and replace engines, transmissions, steering systems, brakes and other mechanical components.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and identify faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out inspections and ensure all repairs meet relevant safety and roadworthiness standards.
- Perform breakdown repairs and assist with fault diagnosis when required.
- Complete repair work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.





Skills & Requirements

- Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
- Previous experience working on heavy diesel trucks and trailers.
- Solid mechanical knowledge and fault-finding skills.
- Experience using heavy vehicle diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to producing quality work.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Current driver's licence; a heavy vehicle licence is an advantage.
