About the role

We're looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Casual Showroom Assistant to join our team at Pambula Tiles + Bathware.

This is a hands-on, varied role in our independent tile and bathware business. You'll help customers in the showroom, keep our displays looking great and assist with the day-to-day running of the store and warehouse.

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to learn. Experience in retail, customer service or building supplies is an advantage, but the right attitude is just as important.

Key responsibilities

- Welcoming customers and assisting with showroom enquiries
- Helping customers explore tile and bathware selections
- Keeping the showroom clean, tidy and presentable
- Organising samples, displays and product information
- Receiving stock, unpacking orders and organising deliveries
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for collection or delivery
- Assisting with general warehouse duties and stock organisation
- Answering phone calls and emails and directing enquiries when needed
- Supporting the team with day-to-day tasks and delivering exceptional customer service

About you

- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with people
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Valuable attention to detail and able to follow instructions
- Proactive and happy to get involved in all aspects of the business
- Comfortable working in both a showroom and warehouse environment
- Physically capable of handling stock and assisting with manual tasks
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn our systems
