Role Description This is a full-time, in office Solicitor role based in Glen Innes, NSW. The Solicitor will manage their own files, provide clear and timely legal advice, draft and review documents, and represent clients in negotiations and, where required, court appearances. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand their needs, preparing correspondence and contracts, conducting legal research, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards.

The role also involves collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate file notes and records,



and contributing to the firm’s ongoing reputation for reliable, client-focused service.

Qualifications

- Strong grounding in general Law, with the ability to interpret legislation and case law and apply it to client matters.
- Skills and experience in Conveyancing, including property transfers, drafting and reviewing contracts, and advising on related legal issues.
- Experience in Commercial Real Estate matters, such as leases, sales, acquisitions, and related commercial agreements.
- Capability in Family Law, including parenting, property, and separation matters, with a focus on sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Admission as a Solicitor in Australia and a current practicing certificate (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively within a small team environment.
- Commitment to ethical practice, client service, and ongoing professional development.
