At Reverence Community Care, we provide NDIS services, including Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Behaviour Support, Psychology, and Group Programs. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Speech Therapy Assistant to support clients in developing their communication skills and achieving their therapy goals.

Position Overview

Location: Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia

As a Speech Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a qualified Speech Pathologist to implement individualised therapy programs and support clients with their speech, language, communication, and social interaction skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist Speech Pathologists with individualised therapy programs and activities.
- Support clients in developing communication and social interaction skills.
- Prepare therapy materials and resources.
- Observe and report client progress to the supervising Speech Pathologist.
- Maintain accurate session notes and documentation.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and the allied health team.
- Follow clinical guidance, confidentiality requirements, and NDIS policies.

Requirements
- A qualification in Allied Health Assistance, Speech Pathology Assistance, Community Services, Disability Support, or a related field is desirable.




- Experience supporting children or adults with communication difficulties is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the NDIS is desirable.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, compassionate, and client-centred approach.
- Ability to work under the supervision of a qualified Speech Pathologist.
- A current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, where applicable.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
