Transformation Business Analyst, EVT HQ, 12 Month Fixed Term ContractThe roleMake the way we work simpler, faster and safer. As our Transformation Business Analyst, you’ll find and remove waste, reduce risk and standardise how work gets done across our operations and support teams. Using LEAN principles, process mapping, value stream mapping and FMEA, you’ll lift performance and help us rethink how our functions work, including where automation and AI can genuinely help.What you’ll be doingLeading LEAN improvement projects from diagnosis through to implementation and benefits trackingSpotting waste, bottlenecks and variation in customer-facing and back-of-house processes, and recommending practical solutionsEmbedding standard work so improvements stick and can be repeatedIdentifying processes that are strong candidates for automation or AI, and working with our Data Engineering team to assess feasibilityCreating and maintaining current-state and future-state process maps, including SIPOC and swimlane mapsDeveloping value stream maps to show value-adding and non-value-adding activities, lead times and handoffsUsing data, observation and time studies to quantify opportunitiesRunning FMEA to identify potential failure points,



prioritise risk and track corrective and preventative actions with process ownersSupporting operational standards and audit programs by identifying recurring failures and root causesEngaging and influencing stakeholders from frontline teams to senior leadersReporting on project progress and benefits deliveredWhat you’ll bringDemonstrated experience applying LEAN principles in an operational environmentProven skill in process mapping and value stream mapping, including facilitating workshopsPractical experience running FMEA and acting on the resultsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendationsExcellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlinesIt’d be excellent if you also haveLean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above)Experience in hospitality, entertainment or multi-site operationsFamiliarity with root cause analysis methods such as 5 Whys and fishbone diagrams, and A3 problem solvingExperience with process mapping toolsExperience identifying automation or AI opportunities, and the judgement to tell genuine candidates from processes that should simply be removedPractical fluency with AI and automation tools, with a clear view of what they do well and where they introduce riskWhat success looks likeMeasurable improvements in efficiency, cost, quality or customer experienceReduced risk through completed FMEA actionsProcess maps and standard work adopted across teamsStronger continuous improvement capability across the businessPerks from day oneAs part of EVT, you unlock Elevate Perks from your first day.
