About the role

As Store Manager, you will be the face of Go Go Mart — setting the standard for customer service, building relationships within the local community, inspiring your team and shaping the overall customer experience. You will have the opportunity to make your mark, introduce fresh ideas and play a key role in developing the store into a successful and recognisable local destination.

Key responsibilities

- Develop a distinctive store identity and customer experience that sets Go Go Mart apart from traditional convenience retailers
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve profitability, grow basket spend and build a strong base of repeat customers
- Create genuine connections with customers and establish a welcoming, memorable and trusted presence in the local community
- Recruit, develop and motivate a team that takes pride in the store and consistently delivers outstanding service
- Introduce creative merchandising, product selections, promotions and customer-focused initiatives that give people more reasons to choose Go Go Mart
- Manage all aspects of store operations, including inventory, purchasing, supplier relationships, rostering, cash handling, stock rotation and presentation
- Bring fresh thinking,

About you

- Proven experience managing or significantly contributing to the success of a retail, convenience, grocery or service station business
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of sales growth, margins, stock management and profitability
- A demonstrated ability to lead a team, deliver results and take ownership of business performance
- A natural ability to connect with customers, build relationships and create a positive store culture
- Initiative, creativity and the confidence to introduce ideas that differentiate the business from its competitors
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on approach and a willingness to lead by example, including working alongside the team on the shop floor
- Flexibility to work a roster that includes some weekends
