Amtek is Australia’s premier specialised vehicle conversion company based in Moorebank.

We work on a range of government Emergency service vehicles, fitting new vehicles and decommissioning. This is a rapid paced environment with plenty of work to do whilst working with a great team.

This role requires NSW Police Security clearance - provided by Amtek THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Store person to work 38 hours per week. Monday - Friday

This will be a Casual paid role.

The role will

Responsibilities include

- Internal customer relations - Helping our workshop staff with parts and good from the Stores
- Stock control and management including consumables and customised parts.
- Stock entry into Inventory system
- Picking and packing build kits
- Assessment and testing of parts and consumables for quality control




- Repairs and refurbishment of vehicle accessories such as light bars and antennas using hand tools
- Assessing write-off and warranty parts
- Receiving incoming deliveries, unloading of goods
- Coordinating the dispatch of goods
- Allocating stock to shelves using Forklift

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED:

- Previous warehouse experience preferably in the Automotive Industry.
- Knowledge and experience with vehicle accessories preferrable
- Strong with computer skills required for parts data entry.
- Experience using hand and power tools with ability to carry out minor repair and testing of parts.
- Face to face customer service skills.
- Current forklift license and experience preferred
- Flexible and adaptable attitude to work
- Good communication skills
- Can work independently
