Austest Laboratories is a leading Australian environmental testing facility, providing testing and qualification services for defence, aerospace, rail, automotive, medical and other industries.

We are looking for a well-organised Storeperson to support our engineering team with the smooth movement and storage of customer equipment.

This is a practical, hands-on role working 15 hrs per week, across Monday, Wednesday and Friday, ideally in the morning.

What you’ll be doing

· Receiving and unpacking incoming items

· Recording arrivals and printing labels

· Storing equipment and maintaining an organised storage area

· Retrieving items when required by the engineering team

· Packing and preparing equipment for return transport

· Coordinating with colleagues, clients and logistics providers

· Undertaking occasional local deliveries or collections in a company vehicle

· Assisting with general housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks

What we’re looking for

You will be dependable, practical and comfortable working independently while also being part of a small, supportive team.



You will take pride in keeping things organised and ensuring equipment is handled carefully.

To be considered, you will need:

· A current forklift licence

· A current manual drivers licence

· Confidence using basic hand and power tools

· A systematic and organised approach

· Basic computer skills, including email and printing labels

· The ability to safely handle and move equipment associated with the role
