FIFO | 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off | Mining Operations

About the Role

PRG is seeking an experienced and motivated Storeperson to join our team on a FIFO 2/2 roster, supporting our mining and maintenance operations.

This role is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, issue and control of parts, consumables, tooling and materials to ensure our maintenance and operational teams have the supplies they need to keep equipment running safely and reliably.

Working closely with Maintenance, Procurement, Freight and site personnel, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating freight, managing stock levels and ensuring the stores and laydown areas are maintained to a high standard.

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to stock control and the ability to work safely and independently in a fast-paced mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect and process incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation.

- Coordinate freight receipting, dispatches, collections and deliveries.

- Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock movements, issues, returns and adjustments.

- Conduct regular stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory checks, investigating discrepancies as required.

- Monitor stock levels and identify critical items requiring replenishment.

- Pick, prepare and issue parts, consumables and tooling to support planned maintenance, shutdowns and breakdown activities.





- Assist maintenance personnel with locating and identifying parts to minimise equipment downtime.

- Coordinate the tracking, storage and return of repairable components, warranty items and unused parts.

- Maintain accurate stores documentation and process transactions through relevant inventory systems.

- Ensure warehouse, storage and laydown areas remain clean, organised, secure and compliant.

- Safely operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment in accordance with site requirements.

- Follow all site safety, environmental and dangerous goods handling procedures.

- Work collaboratively with site teams, suppliers and freight providers to resolve stock and delivery issues.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

- Demonstrated experience in a Storeperson role or similar.

- Experience receiving, issuing, picking, packing and controlling parts and consumables.

- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.

- Computer literacy and experience using inventory or maintenance management systems.

- Ability to work safely, independently and as part of a team.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

- Ability to work a FIFO 2/2 roster and satisfy site medical and drug and alcohol requirements.

Desirable:





- Previous FIFO or remote mine-site stores experience.

- Knowledge of mining equipment parts, tooling and maintenance consumables.

- Experience using MEX or similar inventory and maintenance management systems.

- Current Forklift High Risk Work Licence (LF).

- Current HR Driver's Licence, or willingness and ability to obtain one.

- Experience coordinating freight, repairable components, supplier returns and warranty items.

- Knowledge of dangerous goods and hazardous substances storage requirements.

- Current First Aid Certificate.
