Support Worker – Immediate Start | Every Wednesday, 9 AM–2 PM

Vitality Support Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Support Worker who can start ASAP!

We are looking for someone available to provide consistent weekly support to a female participant in her home and community.

About the Participant The participant is a 55-year-old woman who values her independence, autonomy, and self-determination. She benefits from patient, respectful, and person-centred support that helps her maintain her daily routines, wellbeing, and community participation.

She has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. We are seeking a Support Worker who understands the importance of consistency, emotional reassurance, and respecting individual choices.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the participant with daily activities and community participation as required.
- Encourage independence and support her to make her own decisions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining skilled boundaries.




- Follow the participant’s support plan and relevant health and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate shift notes and documentation.

Requirements
- Available to start immediately.
- Able to commit to a regular shift every Wednesday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Patient, empathetic, reliable, and respectful.
- Experience supporting participants with autism or complex support needs is desirable.
- Relevant NDIS Worker Screening Check and required compliance documents.
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are desirable, depending on community access requirements.

Shift Details
- Start date: ASAP
- Schedule: Every Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Hours: 5 hours per week initially
- Additional hours: Potential for increased hours following the participant’s plan review and funding confirmation.

Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
