Position Purpose The Tagline Driver Operates a Suzlon Toyota Hilux Service vehicle to guide the Temporary Suspended Platform (TSP) during wind turbine blade repairs. This role involves assisting with the safe operation for the TSP, ensuring it remains in place during repairs and supporting the team with various tasks.

Accountabilities

1. Drive to the site office or wind farms.
2. Upon arrival, collaborate with the blade team and participate in a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) review to ensure full understanding of safety measures.
3. Assist with setting up the TSP by connecting the tagline vehicles to the platform, maintaining control with two taglines according to the blade technician’s instructions.
4. Once the TSP is positioned for blade repairs,



remain in place with the taglines until the TSP is ready to return to the ground.
5. During this time, the Tagline Driver can exit the vehicle or take a break, but must remain upwind and transparent of the exclusion zone in case of a dropped object.
6. After the day’s work is completed, assist with the safe packing up of the TSP, including minor tasks such as removing power tools.
7. A typical workday last from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
