This hands‑on casual role is integral to preparing, cooking,



and delivering high‑quality food to our guests and supporting smooth kitchen operations across the event season. You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑focused workplace and contribute to creating memorable guest experiences. You must be available to work nights, including weekends, from mid‑November through early mid‑February.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, cook, and assemble food items according to recipes and portion controlsMaintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standardsRestock and rotate stock, and assist with prep stations during serviceSupport smooth service flow with front‑of‑house and kitchen teamsMonitor kitchen equipment and report hazards or issues promptlyWhat You'll BringMinimum 1 year kitchen experience, preferably in high‑volume or event settingsKnowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safetyTrade qualification and Food Safety Supervisor Certification (preferred)Team player with strong organisation and attention to detailAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environmentExperience in hospitality, events, or cinema industryValid RSA and Australian work rights (essential)Perks from Day OneAs part of EVT, you unlock Elevate Perks from your first day.
